Odilon Redon

Odilon Redon (1840-1916) was a French symbolist painter, printmaker, draughtsman and pastellist. He became famous after the appearance of Huysmans cult novel Against Nature in 1884, as the main character in the novel, des Esseintes collected Redon's drawings.
