Belgian Symbolist artist(1858-1921)inspired by the work of Georges Rodenbach. He illustrated Bruges-la-Morte and painted portraits of the poet. His picture Avec Georges Rodenbach.Une ville morte is the frontcover illustration for Hans Cadzand's Vocation and other stories.
