Viktor Vasnetsov

Viktor Mikhaylovich Vasnetsov (1848 –1926) was a Russian artist who specialised in mythological and historical subjects.He is the co-founder of the Russian folklorist and romantic nationalistic painting movement. A Knight at the Crossroad is his best known painting and is the cover image for The Fables of Ivan Krylov.
