Lynette Hemmant

Lynette Hemmant was a book and magazine illustrator for nearly 25 years before moving on to larger work (landscape, still life and portraits) in oils. She still does some illustration, mainly for US publishers. For Dedalus she produced the jackets for four titles by Giovanni Verga : Short Sicilian Novels, I Malavoglia (The House by the Medlar Tree), Mastro Don Gesualdo and Temptation (and Other Stories).
