Steve Larkin

Steve Larkin lectured in the Department of French Studies at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne from 1968 till 1990. He has published various articles on the life and works of Prevost, as well as a critical edition of the first volume of his periodical Le Pour et Contre. More recently he has turned his hand to writing plays, both original and in translation. He has a particular interest in the plays of Prevost's contemporary, Marivaux. He has translated for Dedalus Manon Lescaut by Abbe Prevost.
