Helmut Krausser

Helmut Krausser was born in Esslingen in 1964. He studied archaeology, history of art and theatre in Munich from 1985 to 1989, while working intermittently as a night-watchman, pop-singer, radio announcer and journalist. His plays for the theatre have been performed throughout Germany and abroad. He is the author of five novels and two collection of short stories. The Great Bagarozy is his first novel to be translated into English.
