David Connolly

David Connolly has lived and worked in Greece for over twenty years. He was fonnerly Head of Translation at the British Council in Athens and lecturer in literary translation at the lonian University. At present he is teaching on the post-graduate programme in translation at the University of Athens. He has published numerous translations of leading Greek poets and novelists, and his translations have won awards in Greece, the USA and the UK. His translation of Eroticon by Yoryis Yatromanolakis was published by Dedalus in 1999.
