Helen Cavanagh was born in Athens in 1947. She was educated at Athens University and King's College, London. She combines a career as a lawyer in England with translating works of fiction, art and architecture. Her translations for Dedalus are The History of a Vendetta and A Report of a Murder by Yoryis Yatromanolakis.
